Whether it’s passenger transport, cargo delivery, tourism, offshore logistics, air ambulance services, or defense operations, the Seaglider is up for the task. With a spacious cargo configuration offering 3,500 lbs of payload capacity and ample passenger space featuring 12 seats with 4 inches of seat pitch.

However, this electric water plane is crafted by a team of MIT-trained, ex-Boeing engineers from Regent in Rhode Island. From distributed ‘below wing’ propulsion with 8 redundant electric motors, to fly-by-wire steering, single-lever thrust control, and 3-axis autopilot, every aspect is engineered for precision and efficiency.

The exterior dimensions of the Seaglider measure 57.5 ft. in length, 15.5 ft. in height, and 65 ft. in wing span. While the cabin offers a spacious interior with dimensions of 26 x 6 x 5.5 ft. With a cargo door measuring 4.75 ft. x 5.4 ft., loading and unloading are a breeze.

Candela C-7 | A Hydrofoil Electric Boat That Flying Over The Water

Wouldn’t it be nice to have a boat that glides smoothly over the water instead of bumping against every wave? Well, the Swedish company Candela has come up with the perfect solution for those who live near the water or love cruising the open sea. Their Candela C-7 is a hydrofoil electric boat that literally lifts above the water’s surface.

By doing so, it reduces drag by up to 80%, allowing for a longer driving range and greater efficiency. Unlike traditional boats that slam and bounce on rough waters, the C-7 maintains a steady, smooth, and quiet ride. Its computer-controlled foil system makes the boat “fly” silently above the waves.

The Candela C-7 can reach a cruising speed of 22 knots and a top speed of 30 knots, with a range of 50 nautical miles per single charge. The company claims this is three times the range of traditional patrol boats. To make transportation easier, the C-7 features retractable foils and a propulsion unit, allowing it to fit on a trailer just like a conventional boat.

Additionally, the C-7 is environmentally friendly. It produces zero emissions and minimal underwater noise, ensuring it doesn’t disturb marine life. Its carbon fiber body keeps the boat lightweight and efficient.

When it comes to technical specifications, the Candela C-7 is powered by a 55 kW motor and a 40 kWh lithium-ion NMC battery. It measures 7.70 meters in length, 2.40 meters in width, and weighs 1,300 kg. Buyers can also personalize the boat with options such as a sunbed, teak deck, underwater lighting, cruiser cover, and more.
