What if you could carry a small wind turbine in your backpack and use it to generate power away from the grid? The VENTYRA R1 is a portable wind power system designed for camping, RV setups, remote work, and emergency charging. The complete system weighs about 2.2 pounds and folds down for easier transportation.
50W of Wind Power
The VENTYRA R1 produces up to 50 watts of output, with a peak load of 75 watts. It supports 12V DC power and can use the VENTYRA Power Hub to convert the energy from moving air into regulated USB power.
The system is designed to start producing power in winds from around 3 m/s, making it suitable for locations where wind conditions are available but may change throughout the day.

Four-Blade Turbine With Automatic Alignment
The R1 uses a four-blade turbine to capture energy from the wind. Its rear tail vane automatically turns the turbine to face changing wind directions, so the user does not need to manually reposition it whenever the wind shifts.
This makes the system easier to operate in outdoor environments where wind direction can change.
Set It Up in a Few Steps
The VENTYRA R1 is designed for a simple setup. The blades can be unfolded, the tripod stand extended, and the ground stakes secured to stabilize the system.
Once positioned, the turbine can be connected to the VENTYRA Power Hub using the included XT60 output cable. The generated power can then be used for compatible devices through the power system.
Designed for Off-Grid Use
The compact design makes the VENTYRA R1 suitable for different situations where access to conventional electricity may be limited. It can be used at campsites, with RV setups, during remote work sessions, or as an additional charging option during emergencies.
Because it uses wind rather than sunlight, it can also provide a different renewable power source for situations where solar generation may not be practical.
Foldable and Backpack Ready
At around 2.2 pounds, the VENTYRA R1 is designed to be carried with outdoor equipment rather than transported like a conventional wind turbine. Its foldable body, tripod stand, ground stakes, and compact turbine make it easier to take along for off-grid trips.
VENTYRA R1 is being introduced through Kickstarter, with early-bird pledges starting at $179.
The system combines a lightweight four-blade turbine, automatic wind alignment, 50W output, 12V DC support, and a portable setup designed for people who need power away from the grid.
