Las Vegasโ€“based company BikeOn has introduced CycleClick, a compact and affordable clip-on power meter designed for cyclists who want reliable data without the high cost of traditional systems. The device clips directly onto your bike chain in just 30 seconds, making it easy to install and compatible with multiple bikes.

Real-Time Power Tracking

CycleClick measures real-time power output in watts, torque, cadence (RPM), calorie burn, and dual-sided performance. By analyzing both legs independently, it helps riders identify imbalances and train more efficiently. Unlike crank- or pedal-based power meters, CycleClick takes measurements directly from the chain using full-bridge strain gauges that detect even the slightest changes in chain tension.

Built for Training and Connectivity

The device comes with a built-in chain speed sensor that tracks speed via a chain roller. With advanced algorithms, it delivers real-time power data that syncs seamlessly with your training. CycleClick can pair with up to three devices simultaneously, such as cycling computers, smartphones, or apps like Zwift, TrainingPeaks, and BikeOnIQ.

Durable and Long-Lasting

CycleClick is designed for all-weather riding with an IP67 waterproof rating. It features a USB-C rechargeable battery that lasts up to 30 hours on a single charge. Measuring 110mm ร— 36.5mm ร— 20mm, the unit remains compact and discreet.

Easy Installation in Minutes

Installing CycleClick requires no special tools and can be done in just a few minutes. Simply attach the housing to your bike frame, insert the retention arm into CycleClick, clip it onto the chain, secure both chain guards, and then power it on to pair via Bluetooth.

CycleClick is currently available on Kickstarter, where early backers can pledge $184 to secure a unit. The company has announced a planned retail price of $299 once it launches to the general market.
