The world of personal flight is moving closer to everyday reality, and the LEO Solo is a strong example of that progress. Created by LEO Flight Corporation, this electric aircraft combines the excitement of a motorcycle with the vertical flight capabilities of an eVTOL. It is designed for easy recreational flying, giving users the freedom to lift off right from home.

A New Form of Personal Transportation

The LEO Solo is classified under FAA Part 103 in the United States, which means it does not require a pilot license to operate. This makes it accessible for people who want to experience flight without going through long training or certification. It is ideal for fun and short-range use.

Compact Size for Simple Storage

Unlike larger aircraft and drones that require dedicated parking, the LEO Solo fits into a footprint of just 6.5 by 6.5 feet. This compact shape means it can be stored in a garage, a small parking spot, or transported easily to different locations.

Fully Electric with Home Charging Convenience

The LEO Solo runs entirely on electric power using a solid-state battery system. Users can charge it at home just like an electric car. Eliminating the need for fuel handling or specialized charging stations.

Safe and Enclosed Electric Jet Technology

Instead of exposed propellers or large rotor blades, the LEO Solo uses multiple enclosed electric microjets built into the frame. This free electric jet propulsion design enhances safety by reducing contact hazards. The structure also includes a roll-hoop safety frame that provides protection around the rider.

Low-Altitude Flight Made Enjoyable

The design of LEO Solo is for low-altitude travel at around 15 feet above the ground. The aircraft offers speeds of up to 60 miles per hour. Along with approximately 10 to 15 minutes of flight time, which delivers a short but exciting airborne experience. Moreover, noise levels are around 80 decibels, comparable to city traffic.

However, with a target base price of $99,900, it appeals to early adopters who are excited about the future of personal flight and want to bring that future into their own backyard.
