The robot horse from DEEP Robotics is a four-legged machine designed to walk, balance, and move in a way similar to a real horse. The design focuses on stable movement across different types of terrain while maintaining balance during motion.

Built on the Lynx M20 Pro Platform

The robot operates on the companyโ€™s Lynx M20 Pro platform. The robot has a payload capacity of up to 50 kilograms, allowing it to carry equipment or supplies. It weighs approximately 33 kilograms, which helps balance mobility and strength.

Sensors and Visibility Features

The robot includes a 96-line LiDAR system for environmental sensing and navigation. This helps it detect surroundings and maintain stable movement. It also features bidirectional lighting, which allows operation in low-light or dark conditions.

Battery and Charging System

The robot uses a swappable battery system, allowing users to replace batteries when needed. A single battery takes approximately 1.5 hours to charge. With an IP66 protection rating, the robot is resistant to dust and strong water exposure.

Computing Power

The system runs on dual octa-core 64-bit industrial processors. Each unit includes 16GB of memory and 128GB of storage, providing the computing power needed for movement control, sensing, and processing.
