The Flying Sun 1000 is a next-generation mobile drone lighting system designed to make night work safer and more efficient. It replaces bulky, complex light towers with a compact aerial solution thatโ€™s easy to deploy and powerful enough to turn night into day.

Aerial Lighting with 300,000 Lumens

At the core of the Flying Sun 1000 is a high-intensity lighting system built from 288 LEDs, capable of producing 300,000 lumens of output. The lights are mounted on the Alta X drone, which hovers above a site to illuminate large areas with precision.

Whether youโ€™re lighting up 10,000 square feet at 17 foot-candles or spreading a wider 137,000 square feet at 1 foot-candle, the Flying Sun provides consistent, bright coverage with a 60ยฐ field of view.

288 LEDs deliver 300,000 lumens for maximum nighttime visibility.

Rapid Setup with Minimal Effort

Traditional tower lighting systems can be bulky and time-consuming to set up. Flying Sun 1000 can be deployed by a single operator in minutes, and no cranes or additional crew are needed. This makes it ideal for roadwork, construction sites, and emergency response zones, where time and mobility are critical.

Long Operation with Minimal Downtime

The system is built for endurance. When connected to a shore power source or generator, it can operate indefinitely. When paired with a 5kW+ 240V generator, tether system, and electric vehicle, the drone can stay airborne quietly and continuously, emitting just 56 decibels at 100 feet. The Alta X drone is rated for 7 days of continuous flight before requiring a 15-minute inspection, after which it can go right back into service.

Built-In Cooling for LED Longevity

A unique feature of Flying Sun is how it uses its own rotor wash, the downward airflow from the droneโ€™s rotors, to cool the LED lights. This allows the system to maintain high brightness without overheating, extending the lifespan of the LEDs and reducing the need for frequent maintenance.

Complete Lighting System for Serious Work

The Flying Sun 1000 comes as a complete system with everything needed to get started: the Alta X drone, an integrated LED lighting array, the Pilot Pro controller, a tethered power supply solution, a flight battery for backup, and a battery charger.

The Flying Sun 1000 is priced at $59,995, reflecting its durability, professional-grade specs, and all-in-one convenience.
