The Electrom Light E-Bike is not your typical electric bicycle. Designed by a Canada-based company, this slim two-wheeler redefines how one person and their cargo can travel efficiently, legally, and cleanly.
It reaches a top speed of 65 km/h (40 mph) and offers a remarkable range of up to 200 kilometres, making it ideal for serious daily commuting and utility use.

Designed for Real-World Urban Mobility

Standing just 19 inches tall and measuring less than 26 inches wide, the Electrom fits into places where most vehicles canโ€™t go. This narrow profile allows riders to lane-split and use designated bike lanes legally, making it ideal for congested city routes. Despite its compact dimensions, the Electrom features a spacious tail-box that can carry up to 100 liters of cargo, equivalent to about four grocery bags.

The swing-away front fairing, understeer handlebars, and center-stand make mounting and dismounting easy, while the upright seating position ensures comfort and visibility on the road.

Its narrow design lets riders legally use bike lanes and split traffic lanes.

Powerful Yet Legal Electric Performance

Front and rear hub motors power the Electrom Light E-Bike, delivering up to 4,700 watts of peak output. The geared front motor helps it climb steep hills, accelerate quickly, and maintain traction. The rear motor provides most of the propulsion and enables regenerative braking, helping to conserve energy on downhill rides.

The dual 72V battery pack made up of high-quality Panasonic 18650 cells stores a total of 3,225 watt-hours, enabling an impressive range of 200 km on just 30 cents worth of electricity.

The Generator Chain Drive (GCD)

Instead of a traditional chain connecting pedals to wheels, the Electrom uses the Generator Chain Drive (GCD) system. This unique pedaling mechanism lets riders pedal as much or as little as they wish, turning their leg power into electrical energy instead of mechanical drive. The system keeps your workout consistent, regardless of the terrain or traffic.

Simple Controls and Full Lighting System

The Electrom keeps controls simple just throttle, brakes, and turn signals. This minimalist approach makes it accessible even to those unfamiliar with traditional bicycle gear systems. In addition, it comes with LED running lights, front and rear headlights, and turn signals to ensure visibility and safety during any ride, day or night.

Clean, Quiet, and Cost-Effective Transportation

With a weight of just 57 kg, the Electrom is light enough for easy handling but sturdy enough to support a rider and their cargo. Its electric operation ensures zero emissions, quiet riding, and incredibly low operating costs.

The Electrom Light E-Bike is currently priced at CAD $15,500 (approx. USD $11,345).
