From Stairs to Wheelchair Lift
When operating as a wheelchair lift, the access ramp folds down so the wheelchair user can roll onto the platform. Before the lift begins moving, the ramp automatically raises and locks into position.
This allows the same structure to function as everyday stairs or as a lift whenever needed.
Designed to Fit Different Spaces
FlexStep is available in four standard step widths of 700 mm, 800 mm, 900 mm, and 1,000 mm. It can be built with a minimum of two steps and up to six steps, providing a maximum lifting height of 1,295 mm.
The system also offers a wide range of design and configuration options, making it easier to integrate into existing buildings and interiors.
Built-In Safety Features
FlexStep includes several safety systems during lift operation. Pressure plates beneath the platform automatically stop movement if an object is detected underneath.
An infrared safety system positioned between the steps helps reduce the risk of crushing. If the lift detects an overload or uneven weight distribution, it automatically stops operating.
Acoustic alarms notify users whenever the lift is moving, helping improve awareness during operation.
Reliable Performance
The lift has a lifting capacity of up to 400 kg, accommodating up to two people. It travels at a lifting speed of 40 mm per second and can lift users between 240 mm and 1,295 mm.
Depending on the configuration, the unit weighs between 125 and 205 kg.
To improve reliability, FlexStep includes backup batteries that allow the lift to continue operating during a power outage.
