The Shoei GT-AIR 3 Smart introduces a new approach to motorcycle helmets by combining premium protection with fully integrated augmented reality. Created through a partnership between Shoei and France-based EyeLights, this model uses a visor-embedded display to bring essential riding information directly into the riderโs natural line of sight. The result is a seamless riding experience that blends head protection with modern digital assistance.
Visor-Integrated Nano OLED HUD
At the core of the GT-AIR 3 Smart is a full-HD Nano OLED head-up display built into the visor system. Instead of adding external devices, Shoei integrates the display internally so riders can view information projected three meters ahead.
This placement helps maintain road focus and reduces the need to look down at a dashboard or smartphone. The ultra-bright Nano OLED panel remains readable even under direct sunlight, and the clear projection supports faster information processing during rides.

Customizable On-Screen Information
Riders can adjust the display to show only what they need. The system supports speed information, radar and camera alerts, simplified mini-maps, full GPS navigation, call notifications, and music details.

Audio, Intercom, and Voice Control
The helmet includes a premium audio system developed with EyeLights. High-quality speakers and a noise-reducing microphone improve sound clarity during calls and intercom communication. An ANC microphone reduces wind and engine noise.
The GT-AIR 3 Smart supports unlimited-range intercom communication between riders. It works with both Android and iOS devices and allows riders to use Google Assistant or Apple Siri for hands-free control.
A built-in battery hub powers the projection system, audio components, and intercom functions for more than ten hours. This ensures that riders can complete long rides.
Shoei offers the GT-AIR 3 Smart helmet in five color options and multiple sizes. Begins at โฌ1,199, which is around US $1,381.
