Most power wheelchairs stop when they reach a staircase. The Mobius Mobility iBOT is designed to handle situations that traditional power chairs cannot. With its stair-climbing technology, the iBOT can carefully move up or down stairs one step at a time, giving users another way to navigate certain environments.
The iBOT also offers several other mobility features, making it more than a standard power wheelchair.
Six Modes in One Device
The iBOT combines six operating modes into a single mobility device. These include Standard Mode, Four-Wheel Mode, Balance Mode, Stair Mode, Docking Mode, and Remote Mode.

Each mode is designed for a different situation, allowing users to switch between everyday driving, obstacle handling, stair climbing, balancing, docking, and remote operation.
Balance at Eye Level
One of the iBOTโs unique features is Balance Mode. In this mode, the wheelchair balances on two wheels, raising the user closer to eye level during conversations or daily activities.
This feature allows users to interact from a higher position while the chair maintains its balance.
Built for Different Terrain
The iBOT is designed to travel over obstacles that may be difficult for many traditional power wheelchairs. In Four-Wheel Mode, it can climb obstacles up to 6 inches high, while Standard Mode can handle obstacles up to 1.5 inches.
The chair has a top speed of 6.8 mph and offers a driving range of up to 14 miles in Standard Mode.
Designed for Everyday Use
The iBOT supports users weighing between 50 and 300 pounds. Its powerbase weighs 178 pounds and is powered by lithium-ion batteries.
Additional features include a built-in USB charger and transport securement points, making the chair practical for everyday mobility and transportation.
Expanding Mobility Options
The Mobius Mobility iBOT combines stair climbing, balancing, and multiple driving modes into a single power wheelchair. With six operating modes, obstacle-handling capability, and the ability to balance on two wheels, it offers mobility features that go beyond those of many conventional power chairs.
